Recently we've heard a comment from people that makes our heads spin. Seriously, folks, if you say to us, "I always wanted twins!", here are a few reasons why we think you are truly a bit crazy.
1. Two arms per adult. Think about that when you think about two wailing infants and a parent trying to play 'zone'. Man on man doesn't always happen with twins!
2. Diapers cost mula. Our hopes of cloth are put aside for now, due to an already overwhelming laundry regimen.
3. Two babies means two different schedules. Think about that when you think about sleep. Riiiight.
4. From what we can judge, nursing is not nearly as convenient when you have two mouths to feed. Mom's Milk Truck, open 24/7.
5. In short, take a newborn and then double everything.
Now, we absolutely love our girls. The fact that we find their chubby faces adorable helps keep them in our good graces even when they both fuss for 3.5 hours straight in the evening or one decides that 1-5:30am is the best time to be awake and announcing her displeasure to the neighborhood.
And for those of you who still want twins, may you be blessed with triplets!

Even with only one of these bundles of joy we feel your pain. Lesson learned: be adorable and you get away with anything ;)
